Cache
I built a way to turn the videos you save into step by step plan. From doomscrolling to doing
About Cache
Project Description:
Every day you scroll past ideas that could change how you work, think, or grow. A productivity framework. A marketing tactic you've never tried. A mindset shift that actually lands. You save the clip. You tell yourself you'll come back to it.
You never do.
It's not a willpower problem. It's a friction problem. By the time you revisit that saved folder, the context is gone — you don't remember why it felt important, and you definitely don't know what to do with it. The idea dies in your saved tab.
.cache fixes the moment between watching and doing.
Here's how it works: you forward any link — TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube Short, Facebook video — to a WhatsApp contact. That's it. Within seconds, .cache sends you back three things:
The core idea — what the video is actually saying, stripped of filler
Key quotes — the exact lines worth keeping
An action plan — 3 concrete steps you can take, specific enough to actually start
Not a summary. A starting point for action.
Everything is automatically saved to your personal dashboard at http://mycache.io">mycache.io, where you can organize your notes by topic, track what you're working on, and mark ideas as Applied when you've actually used them. The dashboard turns your saved content into a living library of things you're actively doing — not things you meant to do.
Why WhatsApp?
Because you're already there. There's no new app to download, no account to set up on another platform, no habit to build from scratch. You forward a link the same way you'd forward it to a friend. The only difference is .cache sends something useful back.
Who it's for:
.cache is built for people who consume content with intention — entrepreneurs who study marketing and business tactics, creators who want to stay ahead of trends and techniques, knowledge workers who treat social media as a learning source rather than entertainment. If you've ever watched a video, thought "I need to remember this," and then didn't — this is for you.
Where we are:
Fully functional product. Supports TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
I’m launching this as a free beta and looking for early adopters who are willing to test it and share honest feedback. If you try it, I’d love to know:
Do the “Next steps” feel realistic and useful?
Where does the workflow break for you—WhatsApp, dashboard, or follow-through?
What would make you use this daily: reminders, projects, exports (Notion/Asana), or something else?
If you’ve ever felt that frustration of saving great content and never applying it, I built MyCache for you. Try it free and tell me what you think.
