Additional monitoring modules include file, USB, and print monitoring, application and website monitoring, network monitoring, web form monitoring, webcam and microphone monitoring, location tracking, Day Viewer, and API access. These capabilities allow organizations to configure the platform according to their operational, security, and compliance requirements rather than enabling every monitoring feature for every employee.

For productivity management, OctoWatch provides Activity, Chrono, Timesheets, and Productivity information. Teams can examine how employees spend time across applications and websites, distinguish active and idle periods, and review productivity categories. Reports and analytics can be scheduled and used to evaluate activity, productivity, and identified risks. The platform can therefore serve both operational purposes, such as understanding workforce activity, and security purposes, such as investigating potential insider risks.

The software supports Windows PCs as well as Windows Terminal Server and RDS environments. It is specifically designed for Windows fleets and does not target Mac or Linux computers. Organizations can deploy the Grabber manually, through Group Policy, or using their existing deployment tools. After installation, administrators can confirm users, assign monitoring profiles, review activity, and investigate risks through the Web Console.

Data transfers are encrypted, Web Console access can use role-based permissions, and Settings Profiles determine which monitoring channels are active.
