## About Modelflare

Modelflare is a multi-model API platform built for developers and small teams who want to use the best large language models without juggling a separate account, key and invoice for every provider. With one OpenAI-compatible API key you can call GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen and more than 70 other models. Because the API follows the OpenAI format, most existing apps, SDKs and tools work by simply changing the base URL and key, so switching or comparing models takes minutes instead of days.

Pricing is simple and transparent. Modelflare is pay as you go: there is no subscription and no minimum top-up, so you can start with a small balance and only pay for the tokens you actually use. If you top up and change your mind, unused paid balance can be refunded within 24 hours of the top-up. Current per-model prices are published openly on the pricing page, so you always know what a request will cost before you send it.

Modelflare is already used by 29,423 users, from independent developers building side projects to small companies running AI features in production. Typical use cases include building chatbots and AI assistants, adding text generation or summarization to an existing product, routing different tasks to different models, testing prompts across several models side by side, and keeping a fallback model ready when one provider is slow or unavailable.

Alongside the API, Modelflare runs a sister product called Castaly (https://castaly.modelflare.dev/), an AI image generation tool for creating pictures from text prompts. Together they give teams one place to access both language and image models.

New users can request trial credits to test the platform before committing any budget. To get started, visit modelflare.dev, create an account, generate an API key and point your existing OpenAI-compatible code at Modelflare.
