## About CrawlCheck

CrawlCheck is a free diagnostic tool that answers a question most sites cannot answer: which AI crawlers can actually read your site? Large language models only cite pages they were able to fetch and parse. If GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot or Google-Extended are blocked by a stray rule in robots.txt, your content simply never enters the answer pool, no matter how good it is.  
  
CrawlCheck fetches your homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap and key meta tags, then evaluates them against 61 known AI crawler profiles. For each crawler it tells you whether access is allowed, blocked by a wildcard, or missing a sitemap entry. The result is a single readiness score plus a prioritized fix list, so you can see whether the problem is crawlability, indexation, structured metadata, or content signals.  
  
Everything runs without signup. Paste a URL, get a shareable report in seconds, and send the link to a client or teammate. The report includes a copy-ready llms.txt scaffold, a robots.txt snippet that keeps search crawlers allowed while granting access to the AI agents you care about, and notes on how each crawler handles user-agent matching.
