Campus is a persistent project workspace built for software teams and independent builders who work alongside AI agents every day. Instead of scattering context across chat threads, documents, tickets, and disconnected AI sessions, Campus brings your repository, terminal, project knowledge, conversations, and AI agent work together into one shared, organized home for each project.
At its core, Campus treats a project as a living workspace rather than a folder of files. Every repository you connect gets a durable, structured space where code, discussion, and AI-assisted work stay linked together over time. Team members and AI agents alike can open that space, understand exactly what has happened so far, and continue meaningfully rather than starting from a blank context window or re-explaining background information that already exists somewhere else.
A key part of Campus is its integrated terminal and repository access. Rather than switching between a separate IDE, a terminal window, and a chat tool to hand instructions to an AI agent, everything happens inside the same workspace. You can review what an agent changed, inspect the terminal output that produced it, and see the reasoning or conversation that led to that change, all without leaving the project. This tight loop is especially valuable for teams running multiple AI coding agents in parallel across different tasks, since it becomes far easier to audit, redirect, or resume any one of them.
Project knowledge in Campus is treated as a first-class citizen. Decisions, specifications, architecture notes, and important context are captured and organized around the project itself, so they remain discoverable months later instead of being buried in an old Slack thread or a one-off document. When a new team member, collaborator, or even a fresh AI agent session joins a project, Campus gives them a coherent picture of what has been built, why choices were made, and what is currently in progress.
Conversations are woven directly into this same structure. Rather than treating chat as disposable, Campus keeps discussions tied to the project and the work they relate to, so reviewing progress means reading a connected story rather than reconstructing one from fragments. This matters increasingly as more day-to-day engineering work involves back-and-forth with AI agents: those exchanges are part of the project's history and should be reviewable the same way code changes are.
Campus is designed for collaboration between humans and agents on equal footing. Team members can review an agent's progress the same way they would review a colleague's pull request, and agents can pick up tasks with the full context a human teammate would have had. This reduces the friction that typically comes from AI-assisted development: lost context, duplicated explanations, and work that is hard to trace back to its origin.
For software teams, Campus reduces the overhead of coordinating people, code, and AI tools across many concurrent efforts. For independent builders, it offers a single organized space to manage repositories, agent-driven work, and project knowledge without needing to stitch together multiple disconnected tools. In both cases, the goal is the same: keep everything relevant to a project in one place, so continuing work, reviewing progress, and collaborating with people and AI agents feels natural rather than effortful.
In short, Campus is a home base for modern software projects where repositories, terminals, knowledge, conversations, and AI agent activity live together, making it easier for teams and builders to stay organized, move faster, and collaborate effectively with both people and AI.
