Astiva is a platform that tells brands what AI tools say about them. When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity for a recommendation, Astiva checks whether your brand gets named or a competitor does, then helps you act on what it finds.
The problem is easy to state. Ranking well on Google does not guarantee a mention inside an AI answer, because AI platforms pick which brands to name using their own signals, such as training data, citation authority and how content is structured. Astiva calls the work of improving this AI Search Optimization (AISO), and it measures AI answers separately from regular search results.
Each day, Astiva runs your tracked prompts across ten AI platforms: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Meta AI, DeepSeek, Mistral AI, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overview. The results feed a loop with four steps. First, it finds where your brand appears and where it doesn't. Second, it compares you with competitors on the same prompts to explain why they earn citations you are missing. Third, it turns each gap into a content piece written to earn mentions, with FAQ schema, expert quotes and sourced statistics, and every piece passes a 15-point quality check. Fourth, it connects those citations to GA4, so you can see the visits, conversions and revenue that came from AI answers.
Seven metrics describe where a brand stands, each with a published formula: how often you are mentioned, your share of mentions against competitors, where in the answer you appear, the sentiment of the mentions, how often you are named first, how many times you are mentioned per answer, and how stable your sentiment is over time. All seven are reported across 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day windows for each platform. The last one acts as an early warning, since sentiment can start shifting before the average score moves.
Day to day, teams can:
Track any question their customers ask AI tools and look back at exactly what each platform answered on a given date.
Let Astiva find competitors that AI platforms recommend but that were not on their list.
See every prompt where a competitor is cited and their own brand is not.
Check which outside domains get cited next to their brand, and whether those help or hurt.
Follow one 0-100 Visibility Score as a headline number.
Get email or Slack alerts within a day of a change.
Export data as CSV or Excel, or share PDF reports on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule.
Astiva also offers a quick brand analysis that returns a visibility score, competitor comparison, sentiment reading and cited sources in under five minutes.
For data protection, Astiva says it encrypts data in transit and at rest and uses JWT authentication. It states that SOC 2 Type II controls are in place with the audit underway, that it is GDPR-ready, and that customer data is never sold or shared.
